Licensing Executives Society International (LESI) is an association of
31 national and regional societies, each composed of individual members
who have an interest in the transfer of technology, or licensing of
intellectual property rights - from technical know how and patented
inventions to software, copyright and trade marks. Since 1965, when the
first LES was founded in the United States, LESI has grown to become a
worldwide community of licensing professionals, with over 12,000
members representing over 80 countries.
Under the LESI umbrella, LES Asia-Pacific is comprised of LES societies
in the Asia-Pacific Region. The presidents of the Asia-Pacific member
societies meet regularly to discuss issues of common interest and to
promote the interest of the member societies. At present, there are 9
member societies in the Asia-Pacific Region:-

China Hong Kong
- LES Chinese Taipei
- LES India
- LES Japan
- LES Korea
- LES Malaysia
- LES Philippines
- LES Singapore
The current Chairman of the LES Asia Pacific Presidents'
meeting is Mr. Simon Rowell of LES Australia & New Zealand.
